The A70 Detailing Journey
For as long as I can remember, cars have been a part of who I am. My journey began with a timeless icon, a shiny red Toyota Supra that my father bought brand new shortly after I was born. That car was the beginning of my journey in the automotive world. From learning how to drive manual in it to going to car meets and weekend cruises with vibrant car communities in the Bay Area and Southern California, the Supra shaped my love for the road and created a deep appreciation for automotive design and culture.
Over time, that excitement grew into an obsession with all things motorsports. I wanted to be more hands on in this world. I started working on my own cars and motorcycles. There were several late night garage sessions, a lot of trial and error, and plenty of stripped bolts. I developed a need for speed and started going to track days to feel the wind in my hair. I got into drifting, drawn to the balance of control and chaos. At the end of the day, I picked up a lot of dirt on my vehicles. That led me to the realm of detailing, a craft that required a new level of precision and creativity.
As I connected with people through all of these experiences at car meets, on the track, or in the garage, I realized one powerful thing. Almost everyone had a story like mine. Different cars, different roads, but all sharing the same passion for car culture. Whether it was their dream car, grocery getter, or project they swear they’ll finish one day, it always came from the heart and that’s what stuck with me.
That’s why I started A70 Detailing in September 2024 right in my hometown in Antioch, CA. The name itself honors the model name of the car that inspired it all and is a reminder of where this journey started. It’s a tribute to my automotive heritage and a reflection of my commitment to show respect to every story. A clean and detailed car does more than just turn heads. It’s about pride. It’s about presence. It’s about showing love to the vehicle that moves you.
